I've been a tim fan for a while now, like many i got onto the bandwagon thru dave n tim sessions... hence being a fanatic of tims acoustic prowess.... anyhow... i was hoping to get an opinion on the dvd... cuz i hear its mostly an electric show which im willing to see for sure..but still a few opinions would help alot..specally from tims acoustic fans.. |

Posted - 06/02/2004 : 8:30:45 PM Technically speaking MusicToday is TR's distributor. Redeye is a distributor as well, BUT they buy their inventory from MusicToday. I am sure Redeye could order them from MusicToday and stock them. Sounds like a question for Redeye or just contact MusicToday directly. Hope this helps. |

The cool thing is that sometimes I go there and they have two copies, and sometimes only one, or even none. But the next time I go there are at least two copies there again. This means people are BUYING IT!!!!
So if you're in the vicinity of your local Best Buy, stopping in on the off chance that they have TR merch there may be worth it.
I stand corrected! That's odd that Best Buy carries the DVD to me. Not even Amazon.com carries the DVD, and as many of you know, I work for Virgin, and I can't find the DVD anywhere in the inventoy to order (I'm in charge of special orders at my store so I have access to that kind of stuff) so this bogles my mind. I'm guessing there must be some kind of link between Music Today and Best Buy??? Or maybe Redeye (Tim's distributer) works closely with them. Damnit, I really want my store to carry the DVD. |

or perhaps just grabbing them off the shelf and discretely placing them behind Waylon Jenning's Greatist Hits. |

Posted - 05/12/2004 : 3:20:24 PM You can probably order it at places like Borders and such...Sometimes Best Buy actually stocks TR's albums, so try there. The DVD I think is only available thru the site, but give it a shot elsewhere if your credit sucks or whatever... |

Posted - 05/11/2004 : 3:05:42 PM The other thing that I would suggest is give it multiple listens before making any judgements. I liked it a little at first, but it was kinda weird. Now, I love the whole thing its damn good stuff, especially the last song, holy crap I love that song. |

Posted - 05/11/2004 : 2:04:24 PM It's got one acoustic song on it. It also has many really really good electric songs on it. I picked it up last fall and I was really happy with it. It got me my Tim fix since he can't tour all the time and play up here in the great NW. I really like it and I would recomend it. Maybe check out some electric shows before you buy it though. It's really good though. |

Posted - 05/11/2004 : 2:03:39 PM If you are apprehensive about buying the DVD, consider purchasing the live CD of the same name. It's got all the songs except for "You Are My Sanity", but it's a great introduction to Tim's electric music. |
