Did Tim play with a Charlottesville band called Rude Buddha in the early - mid eighties? |

TR says he was never played in Rude Buddha but he remembers them just showing up on the scene in C-ville when he was starting TR3 and he remembers really liking how different they were. He said they did this really weird linguistic thing that really impressed him even though he said it was not really his cup of tea at the TIMe. He remembers respecting their creativity and uniqueness. He said he got to be really good friends with the drummer, Spencer, later and had always hoped to have an opportunity to play with him. Sadly for us and TR, it never happened.

He has never mentioned it, but I will ask him when I speak with him next. Being from Wash DC I remember that band, it would be bizarre if he had indeed played with them as I saw them a number of TIMes way back in the day. |
