Posted - 04/08/2004 : 12:12:48 AM If you want to impress TR and engage him in conversation play FEAR FACTORY. That will surely get him talking. I don't want to burst they guys bubble, BUT I talked to TR yesterday and I will probably be picking him up at the airport and shuttling him around Buffalo for the festival. Unless of course I have to do some other tour during that TIMe. We will see. |

Posted - 03/24/2004 : 5:03:44 PM As far as I know it was a synth. At least, it is live.
Man! Second row! That's awesome! Pam, have you seen "The Barry Williams Show" music video? It's awesome and disturbing. I'd say they do a great job representing the theme and mood behind the song. I'm thinking about dressing up like PG for Halloween next year, doing the whole blue makeup on the face, like he did in the 80's.
And I ended up braeking down and ordering "The Wild Thornberry's Soundtrack" just to get a copy of "Animal Nation"! |

Posted - 03/24/2004 : 3:39:46 PM whats the instrument on sledgehammer during the bridge i guess where it sounds like a flute but not a metal or brass intrument but a wooden one? PG finds some werid shit to play in his songs but cool |

Posted - 03/24/2004 : 3:19:49 PM Arthen you absolutely must see Peter Gabriel! If I knew you didn't get to see him when he toured last year I would have paid for you and a friend to go see him. If he comes again it will be my treat, and damnit, PG tickets aint cheap! I paid about $130 to see him in Philly, second row! It was MORE than worth it! One of those concerts you never want to end. I am absolutely serious about the tickets Arthen, so keep your eyes open.
Zack, you might be interested in PG's website too. It isn't like this one, this one is way better!(Jon has done an amazing job here.) But it has some interesting things on it.

Posted - 03/24/2004 : 2:33:25 PM K I'm finally going to check out peter gabriel as I've just heard way to much good stuff about him. And I know I should have already. |

Posted - 03/24/2004 : 1:09:30 PM Yeah, Peter Gabriel rules on levels most people will never see.
I love him so much. My friend and I were talking about what we'd do if we won the lottery, and the first thing I'd do is book a flight to England, and see PG in concert! Still haven't seen him... |

Posted - 03/24/2004 : 07:09:03 AM Joe, I agree about the conversation. I would never repeat a conversation I had with TIM or anyone else. You are right, that is rude.
Also Peter Gabriel is a god! LOL Seriously, he is! His music has a maturity level that few artists obtain. I am so happy people from the board are appreciating his music.
Security is great, but I like so much of his music I couldn't pick a favorite. Biko is one of my fav songs, as I have a passion for people who try to change the world for the better. If you don't know about Steven Biko I will fill you in.
PG also adds diverse world music which is awesome. I like Secret World a great deal, but gee I honestly can't pick a favorite album, I love them all! |

Posted - 03/24/2004 : 01:55:57 AM You need to go buy "Security" right now. It's only eight tracks, but is by far one of the greatest albums ever created.
On the subject of Tim, I doubt he's ever even heard Live at Luther College. |

Posted - 03/23/2004 : 9:02:29 PM thats cool but i dun think he should post his whole convo thats kinda rude in my perspective but speakin of peter gabriel i just bought his greatest hits cd and man i didn't realize his style is like that but yet very satisfying |

Posted - 03/23/2004 : 4:26:01 PM He should play Peter Gabriel's "Security". We all know Tim likes Peter Gabriel, and it is the best PG album. Maybe one day there will be a TR version of "Shock the Monkey". |

Posted - 03/23/2004 : 4:15:47 PM I don't think TIM would be offended either, dan, but I think the person was wondering what music he should play in the car for TIM and I was just saying if it was me, it wouldn't be DMB or TIM music. |

Posted - 03/23/2004 : 1:49:14 PM somehow i doubt that tim reynolds is offended by people listening to his and dave matthew's music while he's in the car. |
PJK |
Posted - 03/18/2004 : 10:54:26 PM There is nothing insulting about DMB or D&T music, but I doubt that is what TIM would listen to. Check out some of the "music on the road" threads. Very few artists listen to their own music.

Posted - 03/18/2004 : 9:10:23 PM how is that an insult? yeah. listening to a d+t in the car is real offensive. i know i'm enraged. |
SeanDMB_Tim |
Posted - 03/18/2004 : 7:50:50 PM somebody tell that guy NOT to talk about d+t....QUICKLY!
if he plays d+t in the car, thats such an insult. i know that. you know that. make SURE he knows. Tell him to play something obscure and respectable.
