Has Trey ever commented on playing with Tim in any interviews? I was trying to find something from Trey about his experience with the Dave & Friends tour, specifically about his experience playing alongside the great TR. I was fortunate enough to catch the last 3 shows of their tour and Tim completely stole the show...I'd love to hear Trey's thoughts on Tim's brilliance.

Thanks, I was wondering if that was a song or just some kind of structured tremolo thing. I attempted to tab out the first little measure, and god, between the fretting on the left hand and the tremolo on the right, I give TR praise for being able to play that tune as well.

in the middle of Jemez, he kicks into this really soft tune that sounds kind of classical, or classicly influenced. thats the tune. I dont know if its original though.

I know this is an oldie, but its been nagging me what song this "Where Have the Years" is... Any info would be appreciated.

the most i can tell you is durring the VT soundcheck last year, trey was commenting durring Tims setup. Tim was playing this one tune called "Where Have The Years", and he was like "man, you know ive tried to do that but I cant". He was basically in an respectful and impressed state of viewing. I dont want to say in awe, because their levels trancended that of comparison, so i think when trey sees something we find awe inspiring he is equaly impressed but holds it at a different level... if you get what i mean
