Posted - 11/19/2003 : 1:25:22 PM OK, so I know that with Fluffy having been in Germany things have been a bit slow around here, so I decided to do my best as a member of the TR TASK FORCE and step in for now to bring the TR community a few of the answers they have been seeking over the past few months. Again, these are straight from Tim and I ever so humbly thank Tim for contacting me with this information:
New cd: Next week, Tim plans on going back for a second set of Studio dates to work on his next release which should be a 2 disc set entitled Equilibrium- "Ist cd is new stuff, (by which I generally mean, songs I haven't recorded on cd yet ) most of which was heard this last tour.................face off, torch of uncertainty, form this world, dreaming, industrial complex, tribulation. Also there are some nice acoustic tunes never heard before live. I plan to use real strings on one song"
"The second cd is a collection of home recordings of a more experimental nature. The working title for the second cd is " Invisible Pagan Underdogs "
and as if this news isn't enough- west coast people are finally getting what we have been anxiously waiting for- A NEW SOLO TOUR!!! Although it definitely should be noted that this is only in the planning stages... nothing set in stone at all, but the tentative plan for Tim is to take his Equilibrium tour to California, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah (with possibilities of Oregon and Washington too). The tentative time period for this is April, so us west coasters definitely have something to look forward to.
Hopefully this will temporarily quench the collective thirst for new TR news, and give us all a lot to anticipate.

Posted - 11/20/2003 : 3:20:36 PM I'm talking 'bout the WOW Hall show. Drove from Sacramento to see it, and Congo Masturbators was awesome. I was three feet away from Tim the whole time, right in front. |

Yeah, the Eugene show did rule. Although, I believe it was 2001. Way too long ago!
I don't recall too many people shouting out "Stream". One person did shout out "You Are My Sanity." Then suprisingly enough later he played it!
Are you talking about the WOW hall show or the one on the U of O campus that was all electric except for some encore stuff. I was at both shows but I was in the back of the WOW hall show(I decided to sit on top of the little raised platform in the back on a chair. Lucked out because I still had a good view and I pleased my lazy ass) and there were a few people shouted stream that were directly in front of me. They weren't too bad though. Anyway I meant the all electric one on campus. By the way I was right behind the sound board and I know that at least one guy was patched in and recorded the show (the WOW hall acoustic). Does anyone have a recording because I would love to have that show! For congo masturbators alone! |

Posted - 11/20/2003 : 01:00:13 AM I think that this is the greatest news I have heard in a LONG TIMe. I can't wait for this cd to come out. I know that most of us have heard some of the new material on the tour or from the recordings but I can't express how much of an excitement this is since the new songs ROCK!!! |

Posted - 11/19/2003 : 4:35:20 PM Sweet! Any time Tim and experimental are used in the same sentence you know it's going to be good. Still hoping everything works out and he makes it up to Oregon. I was reading some old stuff on the boards about the Eugene show of 2002 being a let down. Well I was there and it wasn't as full as expected but it was a great show none the less besides the Stream shouters. Well anyway if he comes up again I'll do all in my power to pack the place with loving fans. |

I actualy heard this already, and its definatly going to be a treat. There's one song called "Sometimes Love Sighs" that i was really really impressed with, so it'll be great.
the tour is also great news. Im going to be going to most of the d&f shows, but since the solo tour is in April, im hoping that I can swing that one as well. West coast!!
Thanks again, and I gotta email you Kev. |
