I found that out when I downloaded some song and Tim says, "This next song is called Feeling Doors. It was giving the name by my five year old daughter. I have no idea what it means, but she does."

Feeling Doors was named by Eura. I think we talked about that along time ago, in galaxy far, far away (or just in another thread, HEHE)

I don't know if anyone else shares in this opinion.

But to me Offspring sounds like something the Peanuts (Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, etc) would walk around to. It's got such a great tone and sound it makes me smile. Smile is also good. Stream overall is my favorite CD.

Offsrping is perhaps my favourite, too. It is Sandy Carl's fave, also. you should scan that picture and get it on teh internet so we can all see the little devil.

I thnk one reason why i like offspring so much is because it was the second song i've ever heard. I heard strema, and then offspring, adn then feeling doors...but stream is NOT my number one...Feeling doors is.

I'm bringing this up late in the post, but Offspring happens to be one of my favorite songs, does anybody have an MP3, they might be willing to post?

Jason has Sandy Carl. Actually, Sandy Carl has my DMB shows. He and the shows are on my desk. I have no control over them now.

my question has already been answered above though

Fluffy Posted - 08/01/2002 : 12:25:01 PM
Sorry FiS, that was early in my tenure with TR and I wasn't keeping track of them yet. I started around the TIMe Jon Soldo came aboard and figured out there was a way to make the info available to everyone thru his website. Hopefully you can suss it out. I bet that show was recorded by Kyle and he would probably have a copy of the setlist. Hope it helps.

man i feel dumb... at the beginning of disk 2 i thought he says the song he was about to play was offspring... but guess he was talking about the song he just played... sorry guys... and thanks dick mountjoy

dick mountjoy Posted - 07/29/2002 : 9:51:30 PM
wait i was right all along.....the last song on disk one is 'offspring'. the first song on disk two is 'no other words'. the last song on disk two is 'do it yourself'.

FiS Posted - 07/29/2002 : 7:23:53 PM
towards the end of disk one he plays As Far as We Can See then switches to his 6 string, then improvs a little, then he plays the song in question, then disk 1 ends and disk 2 starts off with offspring... i just listened to 4 live versions of Do It Yourself and it's not the same song.. it's a nice sounding one that flows really well... it starts off something like

e---------------------------------------
B-----------3------------------3--3/5-3-
G--0--2--4-----4p2p0--0--2--0-----------
D---------------------------------------
A---------------------------------------
E--3--3--3--3---------1--1--1--1-1------

thats not very accurate but it should be close enough for now
to G to F bass line is somewhat reminiscent of Typical Situation Chorus..
does this help any? this is really bothering me

dick mountjoy Posted - 07/29/2002 : 6:02:59 PM
my bad the last song on disk one is 'do it yourself'. number 13 on nomadic wavelength

dick mountjoy Posted - 07/29/2002 : 5:57:54 PM

pcbTIM Posted - 07/28/2002 : 7:58:11 PM
I know it's not Reliable Sources.......that sound is completely different.......it might be Messenger......but then, it might not.

Well......I wish I ws at home right now because that's where my Stream CD is, and he plays that song on it too......but I'm sure someone else will verify it before me. Damn! Why can't I remember the name of the song?!

"I didn't think it was physically possible, but this both sucks and blows."
