It has been two and a half weeks since my mother has passed away at the tender age of 43 and over that time I have reflected on some things and music has really helped me kinda "forget" things if you will. Not so much to not remember but to be able to deal with it. The music that brings us all here has been at the top of my list during that time (as you can tell from here http://www.last.fm/user/DMBdvds/).
With that being said I am currently uploading a few songs from the recent Marcus & Tim tour in CA. I was lucky enough to get my hands these clips and wanted to share them with you. So hold tight and by the end of the day you will be in for a treat, and I hope it brings a smile to your face as I know it does for me.

thanks everyone and fluffy thanks for your remarks. it has been kinda weird the past few weeks reflecting and i have come to a newer focus on life it seems.
as for the videos, i really been wanting to share something every since I got my hands on a few shows. the marcus 4-20 video is the only one synch'd with audio, they rest arent because we are all waiting for audio which is coming sooner then never. once that is out, i will synch up and put up newer videos and kill the current, but until then enjoy.
i need to recapture a TR song from 4-28-06 and will put it up tomorrow.

Hey John so sorry to hear about your mom. Don't really want to turn this into a "sorry about your mom" thread but I did want to share since you said TR's music had been helping you thru this most difficult TIMe. So you know, you may want to check out TR's last song on the first disc of Parallel Universe. That song was written for his mother after she passed. You may have deep spiritual connection to that song as his love for his mother inspired it. Another one is TR's cover of Bowie's My Death. To my knowledge TR has only played this one TIMe. He played it at the 09/28/03 show at The Point Bryn Mawr, PA. There is a little story about that day and the story behind that cover. You can read it in the following thread:

Hopefully given the similarity of your situation these songs may also help with your loss. Hope they help to some degree. My heart goes out to you at this TIMe and I hope you find some Peace thru all of it. Glad to hear that TR's and Marcus' music has been helping, I am sure they would both be honored to know that.
