Posted - 11/17/2005 : 1:15:59 PM well if you look at each guitar being a different set, then about 3-4. 6 string >12 string > electric :o)
great person to tape, especially if it is your first time. bring a camera too, they allow that, and make sure you get a apic of the setlist after the show, they'll let you. it helps identify songs. ive gotten a lot better out naming that tune, but still some older acostic im not so sure about still.
but they will help you out if you just ask. :o) |

Kenneth answered with the venue set info (one set) but I'll answer that TR usually does one set and goes backstage after. If the crowd cheers enough, he'll come out for an encore. Yes, how much the crowd cheers does in fact matter. So be loud then. In fact, I think TR likes a pretty loud crowd all the way around (but not yelling song names or nicknames at him).
So yeah. One set followed by an encore of usually two songs.

Since you're going... even if you're not taping personally, ask the sound guy if he can tape the show. If he can, see if you can get a copy of it. Then get it to me and I'll spread it... Sound guys can often tape shows, but often don't because no one asks them to or they don't think to. So...do that. |
