Ok, it's official... the FTP sever blows. I have never been able to connect. I am DYING to see some videos of Dave & Tim. Ever since "Live At Luther College" I was praying there would be a DVD of them released b/c they're amazing together. There never was... I've been searching for some videos of them for years and then stumbled upon this Tim Reynolds message board. JACK POT! Yet, the FTP serever doesn't work. OMG! I'm gonna go crazy.
Is there anyway I can get some videos of Dave & Tim from someone. Preferably the best qualtiy videos that are out there. I'm into all the DVD making and stuff...
~Options~
1) Someone make a torrent and seed it for a little while.
2) B&P I've never done it before, but I'm sure someone could help me. 
3) AIM
4) FIX THE FTP SERVER!

I have also been trying to get onto the ftp server with no luck. I would love video of Dave & Tim or just Tim. I keep seeing reference to people offering to set up a B&P. Could somebody explain what this is and how to set one up?

Quick fyi......
I am trying to finish up a torrent server since the FTP is giving some people trouble. Trust me when I say that I am working on improving all downloads for everyone, in other formats as well. This server has monopolized most of my time since bandwidth is always an issue, anywhere you look.
With that said, I would like to thank Erich and enthuTIMsiast for their kind words and understanding. I am not mad at anyone for their unkind words (because I understand), but I want everyone to know that I have not stopped the FTP or anything. I do have people downloading all day long so many of these issues some of you are facing are, in fact, isolated. Some cannot connect. My sincerest apologies to that issue.
Bear with me so I can launch a better, faster FTP with Torrents. Thanks again for everyone's understanding.
I will post a further update on the topic in the next couple days. |

I dont blame you for being frustrated, because I cant connect at all to the ftp most of the time. But i see how much time and effort Adam put into the server, and thats why its touchy when someone just comes by and says it blows and demand it fixed without seeing that. There are other ways of getting shows, and its not anyones obligation to provide a fast ftp for you. I'll kindly suggest that if you want to request something in the future, shitting on it first not be the best approach.
At the very least, it doesnt take too much brain power to word it differently. |

P.S. - About the FTP server... I e-mailed the host and I never got a reply. I said the FTP blows because I personaly have never had success with it. If I had the speed and bandwith I would love to host an FTP. This is a very touchy subject. Everyone focused on the first sentence of my post intead of the real topic. go with Boone, 3/29/03. Im slightly biased because i was there, but the sound quality on Scott Browns audio is practicaly soundboard, and though I havent seen the video, im sure a dvd of that show would do it justice. The set is amazing, and I finialy got to hear Blue Water live.
PS - if you want an ftp server thats up all the time, make it yourself. being a prat doesnt help your cause |

Geez! I knew someone would get offended. Yes, I know it's a fan. I've done my reading on the message boards to figure that out. Let me re-word it. The FTP server is not working. I am seeking another alternative. (Though the post before this agreed that it "blows"... lol)
