What is the deal with Windows XP and ftp sites that require a user name and logon? It seems that XP will not allow me to enter these sites.

Does anyone have a remedy for this?

Thanks!

try ftp software. It works much, much better than directly through Internet Explorer. This way you can resume a download, and save the information so that logging in is easier as well. If you dont know how to get or install or even use ftp software, check out the link below:

(look at the bottom paragraph under the login information)

Download an ftp client from there, then install it, and if you have any questions, respond here or email me and I will guide you through it.
