Posted - 09/30/2008 : 8:39:26 PM Yeah, he hasn't brought the Line 6 DL4 for a while (even though it is still a good delay pedal). He always has a DD-5 (I have heard that he has sometimes had a DD-3 or a DD-6 with it, but not instead of it).
For all of his acoustic performances, he always uses his Fishman Aura (which I proudly have one signed by Tim . . . and I got my Aura 2 years before Tim ;) ). He continues to use his Volume Pedal, and not sure if he has his Moog Ring Modulator with his electric stuff. He does use his Marshall amps still, no matter what type of electric he plays.
But, that's all I know. |

Posted - 09/30/2008 : 4:02:30 PM He doesn't really have a loop station. He uses a Boss DD-5. I haven't seen him use the DL4 for a long time (more than 3 years).
He "sometimes" supplements the DD-5 with a DD-3 (or a DD-6)...but there has been some arguments about that.

Posted - 09/30/2008 : 2:27:06 PM i saw tim play at a dive 3 years ago in fort worth texas. he was solo and incorporating awesome loops. i see on his gear page that he uses a DL4 but im sure he has something more advanced as the DL4 only has 14 seconds of loop capability. does anyone know what loop station he uses??? |

Posted - 06/25/2008 : 07:26:51 AM I always prefer a Gibson Les Paul to a Fender Strat, but Tim's Strat sounds so good whether it's with TR3 or DMB. Then again, Tim could probably play a $50 pawn shop guitar and make it sound great. |

I always prefer a Gibson Les Paul. If I had a choice of keeping my Les Paul or trading it with an Eric Clapton Strat that he used himself, I'd keep my Les Paul. |

Posted - 06/11/2008 : 1:27:41 PM I could never picture Tim going anywhere without his Boss DD-5. That's like me without my Holy Grail and POG. |

Posted - 06/08/2008 : 5:53:28 PM The Moogerfooger Ring Mod and H&K Tube Rotosphere definitely made an appearance last night in St. Louis, as well as the obvious EB Volume pedal and Boss DD-5.
I'll work on my review of last night and post it as soon as I can. Just settling back in at home after the 5 hour drive. |

Posted - 06/08/2008 : 12:33:34 AM Tonight in St. Louis with Dave M, Tim played mostly a clasic Strat. Did switch off to a Gibson Flying V. Marshal 1/2 stack. Could not see stomps. Tim wore a St. Louis baseball Cardnals cap. Tim dominated the first 1/2 of the show and stepped back. I was blown away by Tim and will be looking to add his CDs to my collection. |
