Posted - 11/30/2001 : 4:50:32 PM Hey all,
What exactly are the differences between the two?
Common sense leads me to believe that the Line 6 is generally for Delay Effects and the Mooger Fooger is for real-spacey effects, and other tones?
Fill me in on this, maybe you can enlighten me, I'm interested in buying one of the two.
Thanks, All...

Theres also a page that has Sample Sounds of the Mooger Fooger...
Grr...As I research into these pedals more, the more I'm torn apart. Both great Pedals, I guess it all comes down to what you wanna do with them...

Posted - 11/30/2001 : 5:50:53 PM Yeah, my next purchase will be a DL-4 for use of its 14 second loop and play over top of that with a shorter delay from the DD-5, but the possibilities are endless...
If you haven't seen this yet, take a look at it(more info on the Moogerfooger)...

Posted - 11/30/2001 : 5:42:17 PM Yeah I figured that.
I currently own a Boss DD-5 and torn between saving for a Line 6 and a Mooger Fooger... Tim does celestial things with the DD-5 and the Line-6 together... Sounds tubular.

Posted - 11/30/2001 : 5:18:32 PM They are completely different. The DL-4 is for delay, looping, and reverse(but you can get some spacey sounds by playing with the knobs). I've never used the Moogerfooger before, but it gives a real neat sound and works basically like a phaser or chorus pedal, given that it has rate and frequency controls. This is my guess anyway... if someone knows better then please put me in my place.
Peace, Patrick
