I am getting relatively better at slapping, but then when tim just keeps going his index finger is out and i am unsure of what the motion is. Is it slap and then pick with the index? any help would be desireable...it's so fast i just can't see what the motion is. Thanks in advance  |

When I met Tim this past fall and i shook his hand, i said maybe some of ur crazy shit will rub off on me lol...he's so solid u really wonder if he's human...or an alien sent from some planet to show us humans how to play guitar the right way |

i was talking about loose interp. as well.....I am getting the thumb down but the index finger is hard to grasp...any ideas? |

Yah, I have gotten MUCH better at using my thumb...hours of pounding out Jemez Rolling Waves and Heaven is in the Heart helped out big time. But even with all the videos I have, I am also having a hard time figuring out the technique HHW is talking about. He uses it extensively on tracks like Loose Interpretations and Metamorphosis. I think the only answer is...he's Tim Reynolds. |
