Ahh All the things you are. It's not a bad tune. Are you doing a chord melody or just playing lead?

I'm not sure exactly what you need help on though. If it's reading you need help with then I can't really help you. It's just a matter of at first figuring out which note is which on the guitar and practicing reading daily. Just get some easy tunes from the fake book that you preferably don't know or don't know well and put the metronome on something slow and play through and don't worry about correcting mistakes just keep going and stay with the metronome. Before you know it you'll be reading just fine. I have the fake book with the song on it. I could maybe help with ideas for chord voicings or try to give you solo ideas but your teacher may be better at that.
