Posted - 06/28/2004 : 2:15:42 PM Some of you guys must use those power tabs right?
programs like: Guitar Pro (dunno the link, but use Kazaa haha) and Power Tab Editor (www.powertabs.net)
I especially recommend Guitar Pro (downloadable on Kazaa)
Anyway, these tabs can be played back to you in midi format and you can all tons of tracks for each instrument's part. If you get guitar pro, go to www.mysongbook.com and download some wicked tabs.
The best thing about these tabs, other than you get to hear them in front of you, is that anyone who takes the time to make one usually does a damn good job. ANYWAY,
At university thsi past year I had a friend who used guitar pro a lot and he and his friend's would write music on the program and send it back and forth.
It's a good way to listen to a friend's music, jam on it and then send it back with your changes and suggestions.
