Posted - 02/04/2004 : 3:38:54 PM Hey all...I was watching the #40 video (12-17-03) and noticed how effortlessly Tim tremelo picks the single strings. Granted, my skills suck and I do try to practice as often as possible. Do the gauge of strings make a difference? Or pick? I have some seriously thick strings and have problems gripping picks thicker than 0.6 mm. |

Posted - 02/10/2004 : 1:06:23 PM tremelo picking is for example. you have a chord, and have thumb pluck lets say the root, then have 3 or 4 of your fingers play the top (usualy melody) note then the thumb (usualy on a different note) them mellody again. ill try to tab out an example.
lets say its an Em9 (6/8 time)

The hard part is to get the high string to sound consistantly smooth. takes alot of practice to get good at.
hope that helps |
