Hey all...I was watching the #40 video (12-17-03) and noticed how effortlessly Tim tremelo picks the single strings. Granted, my skills suck and I do try to practice as often as possible. Do the gauge of strings make a difference? Or pick? I have some seriously thick strings and have problems gripping picks thicker than 0.6 mm. |

tremelo picking is for example. you have a chord, and have thumb pluck lets say the root, then have 3 or 4 of your fingers play the top (usualy melody) note then the thumb (usualy on a different note) them mellody again. ill try to tab out an example.
lets say its an Em9 (6/8 time)

The hard part is to get the high string to sound consistantly smooth. takes alot of practice to get good at.

My understanding is that tremelo picking is rapid picking/strumming of a single or series of notes to give an almost continuous tone/sound. |

By tremolo picking, do you mean like fast alternate picking? |
