Is there any reason Tim doesn't use more alternate tunings? Other than dropping the E string here and there, I've wondered why he doesn't prefer to use more varied tunings. Anybody got some inside info on that.

Also drop C, B, and A. I, on the other hand, use tunings such as DADF#AD and EEEEBE...

Cause he's so fast he doesn't need to =). In all seriousness, I know what you mean...a couple drop D songs, but that's about it.
