Hey guys. My band is covering Two Step and i was hopeing for some feedback on what kind of scales Tim uses to solo in this song live? With the full DMB and not just him and Dave solo. I was hopeing to get some heavy driven electric riffs going and most likely some slide delay stuff. Any suggestions for scales(and if you could tab it out thatd be great)?

Hurray for Lydian Flat 7 Scales.

i mean. stick to minor, it will sound best.

Anyone figured out what i tabed out there for the song.

Actually now that I think about it, d harmonic minor should work too. Which just means it's just like the d natural minor that jemez spelled out above, except you can throw in a C# instead of a C here or there to give it an eastern flavor, but probably not when that C in the bass plays cuz that'd just sound nasty.

hooray for relative minors!

Hehe......I'm taking a fundamentals of music class so now I know exactly what you're talking about. Hooray!

Or maybe you knew that and it was a joke and I missed it the first time.

F Major and d minor have the exact same notes. It makes more sense to call it d minor for this song though.

You can also play it in F-Major, if you eccenuate the notes differently.
