Posted - 11/13/2002 : 8:36:58 PM Hey guys. My band is covering Two Step and i was hopeing for some feedback on what kind of scales Tim uses to solo in this song live? With the full DMB and not just him and Dave solo. I was hopeing to get some heavy driven electric riffs going and most likely some slide delay stuff. Any suggestions for scales(and if you could tab it out thatd be great)? |

Posted - 11/15/2002 : 8:56:25 PM Actually now that I think about it, d harmonic minor should work too. Which just means it's just like the d natural minor that jemez spelled out above, except you can throw in a C# instead of a C here or there to give it an eastern flavor, but probably not when that C in the bass plays cuz that'd just sound nasty. |

Posted - 11/15/2002 : 7:06:45 PM F Major and d minor have the exact same notes. It makes more sense to call it d minor for this song though. |
