I was definitely disappointed that I held out so long to listen to the songs on Everyday... it was quite a let down.

Heh, that was how I felt when Everyday was coming out... Maybe you can understand why I don't want to do that again.

I'm the same way... I try to avoid new material until I can hear it on the CD!

Anyone heard the new song You Never Know? It's really great, it's just like old DMB.

I'm gosh-darn stoked for the new one. Does anyone know if he's putting old songs on the new album...like Lillywhite songs...maybe?

Cool... I love an artist that can change things up the way he does. I've seen him play it the way I put down as well, and no doubt he's played it the ways you have too. I can't wait for this new album.

Slight correction here....hate to be a biatch...but I love this song and it must be played right...
quote:
Main chords:
-----------------------------------
-----------3-----------------------
---7-------4-----------------------
---7---7---4-----------------------
---5---5---2-----------------------
---0---5---------------------------

Should be:
Main chords:
-----------------------------------
-----------3-----------------------
---7-------4-----------------------
---7---5---4-----------------------
---5---5---2-----------------------
---0---5---------------------------

But what he plays on storytellers is:

Main chords:
-----------------------------------
-------3---3-----------------------
---7---4---4-----------------------
---7---5---4-----------------------
---5---x---2-----------------------
---0---5---------------------------

More or less...that's just my too sense.

Peace,
al

The tab's working great. I have my guitar right here and i've had DDTW on repeat, listining carefully. So far, I have a small grasp on the rythem, but still a little edgy.

It's my pleasure to help! Sorry I'm so lazy, but tabbing out rhythm generally isn't all that effective so I figure I'll let you go at it by ear with the chords. If you ever have any trouble feeling out rhythm/riffs etc. let me know and I'll be happy to try and get you where you want to go with more in depth tabs/explanation etc... Anyway, glad this kinda stuff helps!

Silky, you are truly a master at tabbing. I thank you.

Silky The Pimp Posted - 04/12/2002 : 8:13:55 PM
The rhythm isn't too hard to pick up on so here are the chords.

Drop D:

Main chords:
-----------------------------------
-----------3-----------------------
---7-------4-----------------------
---7---7---4-----------------------
---5---5---2-----------------------
---0---5---------------------------

Fills: When you are playing the D and you hear Dave laying in fills, you just move along your "high" D string (since we are in drop D and now have a "low" D string) as such.

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------
---7---7---7---7-------------------
---7---5---4---5-------------------
---5---5---5---5-------------------
---0---0---0---0-------------------

End chords:
-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------
---3---7---------------------------
---x---7---------------------------
---1---5---------------------------
---0---0---------------------------

Piece o' cake.

Silky The Pimp Posted - 04/12/2002 : 8:02:34 PM
I gotcha... gimme a minute to tab it up.
