I've got a beauty of a '72 Les Paul that my dad bought new that year. It's one of my most cherished possessions. Couldn't have them without Les. What a great, great life full of contributions that will define music forever.

Multi-track recording, Dave.

I don't think he can take credit for analog recording. That would have to go to Edison (or whoever actually invented the phonograph).

I was sad to hear about this. I've been hearing a lot of his old music recently during tributes, etc. He could do some absolutely incredible things with a guitar.

I now wish I would have made a point to see him perform live.
