The top 10 Ideas for America on a Change.org online poll get presented to the Obama Administration on inauguration day and receive major national publicity. DOP is 1 of 87 finalist ideas, & currently in 13th place. Final round voting proceeds until Jan 15. If you already voted for DOP in the prelim round, you need to vote again in the finals! Thank you!

Here is what happens with the top 10 winning ideas:
"On January 16th, Change.org and the Case Foundation will co-host an event at the National Press Club in Washington, DC to announce the top 10 rated ideas and plans for supporting the formation of a national advocacy campaign behind each idea in collaboration with nonprofit partners. Instead of passively hoping the administration accepts each top idea, a formal nonprofit sponsor will be selected for each idea to help create a nationwide movement to lobby the administration and Congress to turn the idea into real policy.

Change.org is an online community and media network for social issues, and is doing the Ideas for American project in partnership with more than three dozen organizations, including MySpace, techPresident, the Sunlight Foundation, Netroots Nation, Declare Yourself, Student PIRGs, Voto Latino, HeadCount, and Change Congress."
