Posted - 11/07/2008 : 12:18:28 PM I'd say most of us enjoy the same genre/s of music, or at least share a love of music. I've recently been workin' on some songs, strictly acoustic, that I thought would, perhaps, strike your fancies. As a young musician (17), I find it best to get criticism now..rather than when it's too late- that being said, it'd be a great favor if you could listen to a couple of songs and let me know what you guys think.

I especially liked Sobriquet. The melody was simple and moving.
Spring was cool too.
Nice work. |

Posted - 11/12/2008 : 9:18:22 PM It's very good. I'd get rid of the first track on there, because it leads away from what people would expect. In which they could assume the rest is like that. I'd put it as the last track, rather than the first.
Other than that, I really see no criticism to give. Sanctified is what appeals to me the most.
However, it is VERY obvious that you listen to Tim Reynolds, because these songs ring of major influence by him. |
