Hey Jason awesome!!!
I was hoping I wasnt the only one mystified by this day!!! Its really surreal outside just like you described. Beautiful!!! I'm about to go out to the lake where the mountains come out of the sky and they stand there......to see the sunset.
Later tonight look for Jupitar and Saturn on the Eastern horizon just after dusk and throughout the night. They will be the brightest points of light on that horizon. Jupitar a bit brighter, right next to and above Saturn. Check it out its really worth a look and if you have a telescope, even a very low powered one you can see the rings of saturn.

It's about balls cold here ... *grunt* But, no clouds and the sun is out, so it could be worse.

I'm telling you what, today is absolutely the most beautiful day I can remember. Perfect temperature, about 51, the sky is clear and the sun is shining at that low angle it has during the winter, so even at high noon, everything is shady and cool.

Man, I couldn't ask for a better day. Perfect day for anything.

I'm stuck at work, but it doesn't even matter, today is so pretty. I'm not even bitching about having to be stuck in there...that's how pretty it is. Just looking makes me happy.

Ok. I'm enjoying the solstice, if you couldn't tell.
