Whoa. Talk about left field. He had really proven himself as a great and serious actor over the past few years. Except for Casanova.

I want to be a real boy someday!

well. terry gilliam is a boy, anyway.

You and TG are boys, huh? Tell him I enjoyed The Fisher King.

Well, not sound selfish, at least we will get to see how his joker portrayal comes out. I also wonder what Terry Gilliam is going to do. I guess he'll just have to re-cast it, but knowing Terry it's going to be hard on him.

Hmm, maybe if I take a whole bottle, I'll get some really good sleep. Gimme a break.

Apparently it was an inadvertent sleeping pill overdose. He was on sleeping pills do to his filiming schedule of The Dark Knight. Jack Nicholson has come out saying he warned him against taking the role. Thanks Jack, ya asshole.

I'm sure his performance in the movie will be another great one, which makes this even more tragic.

The filming was already complete. It is in post production, all the footage was taken. It will be in theaters this summer. If you want to see the trailer: http://thedarkknight.warnerbros.com/

He was currently starting production in a new Terry Gilliam movie.

It seems accidental. He was at his house, and was having a masseuse come in for some therapeutic massage. His house cleaning lady came up to tell them he/she was here, and found him at the foot of his bed. There were prescription medicines in the area, and sleeping pills (but not strewn about, just some bottles and a few pills). His family stressed that he wouldn't kill himself. The police won't say anything until the autopsy was finished.

Very sad :( .

he forgot 2 things:

1. nail them both at once
2. brag to everyone.
rubylith Posted - 01/23/2008 : 11:22:40 AM
The first report I saw it said he was on Mary Kate or Ashley Olson's apartment (which at this point I think was untrue)...

Originally I figured after sleeping with one of them he decided there's not much else left to do and peaced out.

Either way it's sad.
