I love the last one...so damn true. I talked to a priest/father/minister/preacher human not too long ago after my neice's baptism and I asked him what his opinion on the state of Christianity today. What he said made my day.
"it sucks."
I prodded him for a little more and to sum it up he said that people have completely lost sight of what it means to have faith, but he added that it was his job to "teach the day's lesson," (Give Mass) and help those who seek help and those who are unable to seek it. How we perceive Jesus changes with how we view what is "right," and while I will never nor have ever slighted those who beleive and observe, this little comic thingy is dead on. |
