Whilst (how's that Teri?) staring at my computer screen trying to learn the Portugese lyrics for Starman, I get a huge pop-up with a widescreen shot of our president (purposefully lowercase, mind you) with a blurb "Do you trust George W. Bush?" followed beneath by "Answer to win a *free laptop!"

I love to hate this country.

I use Firefox. The only site I get pop-ups on is 911tabs.com which I use frequently, the Britney wasn't a pop-up, it was an ad banner. I am a super computer geek, and have never had so much as virus, let alone spyware problems. Give me some credit.

Firefox is sooooooooo much better than IE.

if you have a big problem with pop-ups, you should probably check for spyware. and then cut back on the porn sites. also, firefox helps eliminate pop-ups and banners.

"Should Britney Spears have her children taken away? Answer for a *free laptop!"

The rabbit hole deepens...

Great use of that poetic conjunction, HRW!

I haven't seen either of those, so I guess I only get German pop-ups.

what about when they ask about whose body part you are looking at, to win a *free iPod nano.
