ok.. so today i was like... lets record myself playing a song called stream by tim reynolds....
anyway, i did and no I dont not hybrid pick the part, and its all improv which really had no direction  ahah... it was my 3rd take so my arm was really tired and i know the sound quality isent good. I think i might re do it but here it is for now

awesome....good job man...I space out before I have the patience to figure out anyone elses songs anymore...which is unfortunate because i really enjoy playing well crafted musical masterpieces and what you learn of doing that, but in a way it is good because i focus most of my time writing...The covers I have been learning now have been to improve my singing. HRW is the fucking boss at figuring out complicated songs and also easy songs and transitioning them into beautiful instrumental guitar songs. All well im just a songwriter...no more....no less.

i think that it's not really a matter of taste so much as a matter of not knowing what you're talking about. empirical observation will tell you that it's right. doesn't this guy have ears? anyone with ears will tell you it's on. |

ahah well its kind of weird the comments i am getting on this. I posted it over on DMB tabs... and someone commented how its not even close... i dident think it was that bad really? people here generally liked it, most of the stream covers ive seen are just strumming the whole time... o well maybe ill re do it or take it down |

Nice job. Funny still no hybrid picking at Mary Had A Little Lamb even though the alternate picking is totally clean. If you couldn't do it I'd eat my hat. |

yeah, i saw the other clips you uploaded.... i've seen a million different stream covers and none will ever add up to what i heard on luther college, not even TR's version of Stream today. |

hey, yeah totally... this one is not tapping at all... i play all styles really i don't like to limit myself. But i do see the whole tapping thing has become a fad and everyone seems to be doing it, because honestly its way easier than it looks and it seems to catch peoples attention because its very visual...yeah so as of now i only have those 3 vids up and this is the only one with no tapping! |

no offense to you at adam, but i am not a fan at all of the style you seem to play (kaki king style) where you just play the guitar like a keyboard. i like it it to be subtle, like marcus eaton does in fiona at the end for a brief moment.
but do you have other clips of you playing other tunes? |

oh wow. that's really well done. you don't lose any notes during the fast part. everything's clean and precise. your left hand is very economical, and the dynamics are appropriate and tasteful. well done. |
