Posted - 02/01/2007 : 11:54:31 PM do you have ghosts that come in sometimes? don't stand for that shit. here are some things you can do to fight back:
1. don't sleep. sleep is where they get you. that's what i did. most people sleep. i don't. that's how they get you.
2. don't go to the bathroom. watch any suspense/horror movie and you'll understand.
3. no crosses? no problem! create a level 20 lawful good cleric and with just a ton of ranks in turn undead. keep the character sheet under your pillow.
4. turn off all your lights. those bastards can't see in the dark, either.
5. don't live in a place that used to be a goddamn mental hospital with a couple of suicides.
6. spook the spooks. wait behind the door for the ghost to come. jump out and scare it. that'll fix its little wagon.
why do i offer this sound advice? my place is goddamn haunted. i don't even believe in that shit, and i know it's haunted. that's how bad it is. there's constant scampering and banging, and, i shit you not, my room screams. i don't mean like, i can hear something screaming in the room. i mean the whole fucking room, walls and everything, screams. it's fucking bullshit. |

Posted - 02/02/2007 : 12:44:41 PM well, my collection of metal is robust. i suppose it could work. there you go. tip number 7#. i don't actually have any metal that revolves around evil spirits and haunting (because metal that does that is almost always terrible) but i guess i could get some for the sole purpose of showing the ghost that i can relate to it and it doesn't have to be angry at me. |

..that said I haven't witnessed anything I'd call "supernatural" but my sister swears she saw things in an old Kentucky guest house we stayed at in 1987. |

Posted - 02/02/2007 : 10:58:02 AM Dan, considering all of the dragon and fairy books you've read, your brain has probably been subconciously programmed to create LaLa Land for you.
J/K. Really though, when the walls start screaming next time, just play some thrash metal along with it. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. |

But seriously I did see a ghost when I was very little. For a good year I was scared of going into the kitchen. When I saw it once, and told it to go away, it lunged at me, and I screamed running into the living room. My old house used to be home to some nuns, and I saw a white head with a black floting like body, and that could have been a nun in her robe and such. My mom did believe me too. After about a year, I never saw it again. I barely remember it, but I do remember. Since then I have been scared of the dark, but it has less of an effect after all these years. Still, sometimes it gives me the creeps. |
