Tim Reynolds- Nomadic Wavelength.

I like Tool. However, I thought the songs on Lateralus all had very similar guitar progressions.

We're going to Vegas to croak a scag baron named Savage Henry. I've known him for years but he ripped us off. And you know what that means...

I'm pretty sure Creed only got noticed originally by imitating Pearl Jam... Hopefully someone here knows what I'm talking about.
And for that I will never appreciate their music.

I think you just answered your own question.

I can't believe no one is nominating Creed's new Album... i mean the new song is on 22 hrs a day...

I really liked Amnesiac, Pyramid Song is one of my absolute favorite Radiohead Tunes! I would agree that Kid A is superior but I don't think by that much. They're both odd yet wonderful albums imo.

If there's a category for most disappointing album of the year I would put Amnesiac into that one. After Kid A i was expecting so much more. Oh well, it's still got some good songs.

Speaking of Radiohead, get a free sticker...

Yeah, definitely Radiohead's Amnesiac. That's the only mainstream thing that came out this year that really did anything for me. It was just the leftovers from Kid A though, which in my opinion was a much better album as a whole.

Peace,
Patrick

I 3rd or 4th the nomination of lateralus, and I also nominate:

Ben Folds - Rockin' the Suburbs

Coldplay - Parachuttes

I'm not sure which i'd vote for tho...

Yeah, I like seeing good bands get publicity and air play, but when they get to TRL, it just takes away from the good feeling. If I'm ever on TRL I'm going to beat Daley over the head w/ a Volkswagon.

I second the notion for Tool ... but then again I don't. I think that would throw them right into the mainstream which is where they shouldn't be. Tool is just fine where they are. They're one of those bands that won't ever fully be recognised until after they're long gone, kind of fitting I think.

I'd really hate to see Carson Daily and his lame TRL show feature Tool as much as those cheezy boy bands. I don't think that would work.... BRING BACK ALTERNATIVE NATION!!

That's because I don't know what year it is. So..it's for the current year that it is right now. October?
