I don't think I will be merging the two boards together, but I will be using it to get my archiving job more organized and easier to shift through (that i'm not going to let it go to waste).
I know it will slow at this point just because of the holidays and there being no holidays, but once the new tour starts up, you will see some good things going on over there. but for now, i will be putting audio archive links up over then to get caught to todays listings.
You will not need an username to view and enjoy everything there, but if you want to be a part of the task force and help gather things together please do.

some of the features would definitely be nice (the ability to embed videos). but there is something really unique about these boards that i don't ever want to change. i guess it's mostly asthetics.. the trtaskforce boards look like every other message board i've ever seen. if there was a way to improve the features of these boards while maintaining the same look and feel, i would be all for it. |

Wait, I'm confused. Is this a separate board or a replacement to be found at timreyonlds.com? If it's a separate board, I don't think it is necessary, because there isn't that much traffic for our current board. Definitely not enough to warrant a second board. |

i think people would impress an update on this very site if all that was changed was they logged in onto the same site they have been for years.

Ok, first of all, the thing about the internet connection and the pictures and stuff, that's from me only and not jsemon2. So don't attack him for what I said.
Also, I can't get a better internet connection! First I live with my parents (I have too many medical problems to be able to move out right now) who don't have a lot of money to spend. My dad already hates phones and hates the internet as well (and he pays for this one). Then he is now majorly into Ham radios. Whenever he broadcasts too, he kicks me off the internet, and he loves not to tell me about it when I am online. Plus I checked and called around and no one would offer dsl or cable where I live anyways! Also, for pictures and such, they're slight tweaking that could be done in a matter of hours.
Then when I was stating about the other boards, I was hoping someone might look at them and see why they load faster. I wouldn't know since I don't design websites and such. I use the computer for communication, music, and artwork.
Plus, these are only ideas and suggestions. I am not demanding anything from Fluffy and the gang. I am just throwing my two cents out there. I never seen anyone die from someone offering their two cents.

the advantages just outweight not doing anything to not even consider it because people dont like change. i would prefer fluffy seeing the link and say "shit man, can you make the current forum look like that?" in which case nothing would change except the board layout, the threads already started would stay the same and people would just have to all the new features the board would have to offer. fuck, that would suck, have new and easier features.......
and right now is the perfect time to consider an upgrade, tour downtime.

so what i'm hearing, essentially, is that because you have a shitty internet connection, and the pictures aren't aligned properly (sometimes, some of them) you're making a new board, which you want the administrators of this site to merge with. as opposed to getting a real modem and maybe bringing up some slight imperfections to fluffy and/or jon, the two very busy people who keep up these boards and this site. frankly, i'd be insulted. |

I think the site is due for a little tweaking. Some pictures aren't aligned right and updates on equpiment (because he has the aura now) and a few more small things. Plus, since I am on 56k, these boards take forever for me to load. For boards that I am on and were on (eskimofriends.com I am on and dmbtabs.com I was on) they load immediately for me. |
