R.I.P. my friend. We still miss you more than ever. Thank you for giving me a whole new world to explore. Thank you for the amazing, timeless, and cosmic music you have created over the course of your brief time on earth. I think of you everyday, and we will all never forget how important, classic, and unique your music was and still is.

FADE TO RED
FEED THE TWILIGHT ROOM
WHERE SHE LINGERSHE RISE
TO SHAPE THESE SIGNS TO YOU TONIGHT

FROM BEHIND
FROM BEFORE YOU
ALONG A SEAM
THE DEAD AND THE LIVING COMING TRUE

BURNING MOUTH
SHADOWS BREATHE TOO
BETWEEN YOUR TEETH
WHERE SHE SING RIGHT THROUGH ME ALL THE TIME

STEAL ME NOW
INTO BREATHING ROOMS
UNDER STEAMING OATHS
TILL MY LIPS COULD TRACE THE SHADE BETWEEN YOUR THIGH

AND YOU TRAVEL
INHALATIONS
BREATH OF SHADOWS
LAST US NOW TILL OUR RETURN

A year already.

Well, I've spent the week playing more CW than ever. That's what I'm thankful for today, all the art Chris contributed to our worlds and lives.

So happy to hear you had great vibes on your get away with Susann, Robin. Also nice that she is going to keep his website up to date. I know many are going to enjoy his music now because of her efforts.

Fluffy, awesome tattoo! I bet it looks even better now than when I saw it. My thoughts and prayers were with you too on the 20th.

All your energy and thoughts honor Chris in a beautiful way. In the desert Southwest with friends clebrating his life,it was really good. Thankyou for keeping his music alive. Look for a new revamped website from Susann in the coming months. Peace, Robin

So far today I've listened to the Long Way Around Anthology, and Dirt Floor. Listening to Rocket House right now, and wearing my War Crime Blues shirt out tonight to the movies to see the new Bond flick. Your music will always live on Chris.

They played recently a song from Chris Whitely's Live From Studio M session (the local radio 105.5 wmmm channel has artists come in and record a one hour music and interview session unplugged and then plays them every sunday, and certian songs here and there thorughout the day, plus takes certain tracks from them all and releases CDs in which the money goes to charities, and DMB was even in there during 1994 and david gray in 2000). I never heard his session before, and they played a song from Rocket House, I forget which one, but was on a dobro. Just hearing this guy alone and getting commerical sucess following his ATO debute, you can tell he was very happy. It's also shows you how good of an artist he was (and is) with still being so impressive. Just him and a dobro.

RIP - Rock In Peace

P.S. Chris, keep Roger ("Syd") and Hunter company with your great playing.
