The card had a bunch of cartoon animals on it. When I am back in the general vicinity of the card I will give you a better description. It was of the "funny" variety though. No calligraphy on this thing with pictures of sand dunes and sunsets, just cuddly cartoon animals. |

Tim's card is hilarious, though I'm sure it was of the "funny but on another note, I do actually mean it" cards. Were there any illustrations or just words? K-mart had a $200 razor? hmmm ill stick with my mach 3. If Tiger woods, thierry henry, and A-rod use it then It definitely makes me more of a human being. See you in MI........ |

Thanx everyone! As seems par for the course as I look back, I was without internet for a little more than a week around my birthday. I appreciate that so many were thinking of me on my day(which, believe it or not, I now have to SHARE with Mick). I had a pretty awesome birthday dinner with Mick and his family in OBX after spending the day with the TR & his clan. I ended up eating 3 dinners that afternoon which if you know me is way more than I normally eat. I am much more of a 1 BIG meal a day kinda guy. I realized it is the first birthday in almost 8 years that have not been on TouR with TR when it happened. As I mentioned above, Mick Vaughn(bass player for TR3), shares the exact same birthday as I. How crazy, two intense Virgo's in the same band. We actually met for the first TIMe last year on my birthday at a TR3 show in OBX. Seems I will now have to share my celebration each year with Mick and thats fine as he is 1 awesome dude! Once again, THANX to all for having me in your thoughts on Sept 22nd. It's kinda like I spent my birthday with all of you as well. TR gave me a card that I thought was quite funny(if not a bit over-the-top). It said something like:
"Along TIMe ago, on this day in history, something very special happened..............(open card)......."YOU!!"
He also tried to buy me a $200 razor but I wouldn't let him. Who knew electric razors were so damn expensive. I certainly didn't. And we were at a K-Mart. LOL |

(Robin, it was two years ago that you first posted! Time flies when you're having fun! I will have to call you in Oct sometime to catch up on what's happening. As for the full mailbox, yep, still cracks me up that he has 1,000 emails in there! Hope that is a sign that he has "better" things to do and not that he is super busy or just can't get the Internet.)

Well, I went here since the Road Warrior's mailbox is full,LOL. And I was taken aback when I saw that I'd posted a birthday greeting already! THANX to everyone for the well wishing! I will be posting the details of my birthday in the review for the Des Moines show. Maybe now, or looking at the TIMe, maybe after I sleep. Well see. Once again, THANX to all for taking the TIMe to post a greeting on my birthday thread. Sorry I wasn't able to get on since the show in Des Moines so I didn't get to see it until I got to Boulder today or tonite or however you want to look at it. I need to go to bed. LOL |

For Fluffy's birthday, the Germans put out a new movie called "Oh, wie schön ist Panama!" He bought the book during his first visit to Germany and got better at speaking German by translating it. I hope he's as excited about the movie version as I am!
