"The Path To 9/11" Is The Path To DistractionPhony left-right backbiting deliberately overshadows 9/11 truth
Paul Joseph Watson/Prison Planet.com | September 9 2006
The lapdog mainstream media and the left-gatekeeper establishment wannabees have so far succeeded in overshadowing the 9/11 truth movement nearing the fifth anniversary of the attacks, by getting all hot and bothered about a nothing documentary that whitewashes both the Bush and Clinton administration's contribution to facilitating the destruction of the trade towers.
The Path to 9/11, a two part ABC documentary set to air on Sunday and Monday night, gives Clinton a pass for being too interested in his sex scandal to recognize the threat of Al-Qaeda - when in reality Bill Clinton deliberately refused to grab Bin Laden when he had the chance on numerous occasions. Mindless debates about Monica Lewinsky serve only to distract attention from the truth that both Bush and Clinton premeditatively protected terrorist networks before 9/11.
No surprises then that the idiot left gatekeepers have bought this GOP distraction talking point hook, line and sinker - taking the bait to wage endless back and forth diatribes about how angelic Bill Clinton was.
The same liberal establishment mouthpieces, including Democracy Now, The Nation and others have developed an amazing kind of amnesic barrier whereby they fully acknowledge that Bush lied about everything related to Iraq - bolstered by the Senate dismissal of Saddam-Al Qaeda ties today - and yet cannot entertain for a second the possibility that the government told nothing but the truth on 9/11.
This is exemplified today by darling of the left Alexander Cockburn, who scoffs at the notion that the greatest superpower since the Roman Empire, flush with a booty of 2.3 trillion dollars, could not possibly have had the prowess to carry out 9/11 - yet 19 incompetent pilots acting on the behest of a man in-between trips from a dialysis machine to a cave and afforded the total non-response of US air defense could have accomplished the task. Read Kurt Nimmo tear Cockburn a new one here.
The projectile verbal diarrhea surrounding The Path to 9/11 is clearly an intentional ploy to create enough noise in the news cycle to drown out prominent media coverage of the 9/11 truth movement and the educational and demonstrative actions now being organized for the weekend on behalf of the Loose Change crew and Alex Jones.
Don't let this non-issue hog the limelight - The Path to 9/11 is the path to distraction.

Posted - 09/11/2006 : 10:28:02 PM At this point strategically I think there are better directions to go when working towards a change in the current government policies and officials than sticking to the strategy of 9/11 is a giant lie and yada yada yada. Most people know my opinions from past threads on this, and I'm not saying it's a bad thing to discuss just that it seems like such a focal point for people, and it then shifts the debate to is this a conspiricy theory or truth, and not whether the current policies need to be changed. |

Posted - 09/10/2006 : 12:08:07 AM I don't know why this is even important. It's fact that there were many signs that the attack was iminent. What does it matter now who knew what when? The fact is we have an asshole (sorry to be blunt) for a President who is responsible for the deaths of 2,000+ service men and women, tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi citizens because he took our country to war on the premise of WMD's which have NEVER been found and now is trying to say we are on a "mission" for Democracy. Bullshit!
I don't give a rats ass who knew what about 9-11. I don't care if it was a conspiracy or not. Fact is thousands of innocent people died and our country is no safer five years after the fact. We are at war and our President insists it can be won! That alone pisses me off. Give me the definition of winning Mr President, do you mean like we "won" in Afghanistan? With thousands of people dead, how do you come off with a "win?" I just want to know what the hell he thinks we are going to "win." More people are dying from the disputes between the Sunnis and the Shites,(not to mention the Kurds who are digging themselves in to become a separate state), than they are from the so called terrorists.
I say pull out the troops now. I was never in favor of going into Iraq. How many more of our troops must die or be disabled for life before those in power "get it" that this war is Viet Nam II? This is NOT a winable war.
I for one am sick of having 9-11 debated in the news the way it has been. I am tired of the President using terrorism to justify everything he does. There will be another 9-11, it is just a matter of where and when. While our President plays war overseas in Iraq, terrorist cells right here in the good old USA are planning the next event. I can't prove that but I have no doubt about it.

Posted - 09/09/2006 : 10:11:55 PM interesting editorial.
prisonplanet is actually one of the reasons my major is now english, with a concentration in journalism. it's sensationalism like this, and like the post and so many other newspapers, that is steadily poisoning us as a people. it's not informative, it's just polarizing. and even if you insist that it's "the truth" or whatever, then "the truth" is effectively destroyed by the unprofessional tone and hotheaded attitude and language. "the truth" in this form is no longer accessible to the vast majority of people, and thus the truth is rendered useless. there is a place for this writing. and i'm not saying it doesn't raise interesting points or anything. what i'm saying is that this belongs in the opinion section papers. it shouldn't me masquaraded as "news."
as i undestand it, the level on the insanity machine has broken off, and there's no way to stem the robust tide of product that spills forth. i'm only one man, and i can't fix it. but i think if i, and maybe a whole bunch of others who work in journalism, were to pump some class and reason into it, the effects would be lessened. |

Posted - 09/09/2006 : 6:37:00 PM Kind of a related topic, but did anyone see that World Trade Center movie? I'm boycotting it for life because of how stupid it is. Maybe if all the profits went to the needy, I'd go. But the thought of someone getting rich off the actual event just sickens me. That and the fact that the event happened only 5 years ago!!! Is Hollywood afraid we had forgetten about it already? I'm surprised they didn't pull out the patriot card for the advertising. Something like "This is a movie that every American should see". But then again, that movie effectively points out why we were attacked in the first place. Money first, morality later. |
