So yeah, I missed the Atlanta show to be on an Alaskan cruise...
Anyone else been up to that area? You don't think of there being much in Alaska but it's amazing. I never thought I'd see things like wild humpback whales or hear the sound of a 6 mile wide glacier "calving," which is when pressure causes the ice to crack and hundred foot tall chunks of ice break off into the sea. Plus, it was 60 degrees in the middle of summer. I'm ready to go back... |

speaking of Alaska, I may have an opportunity to do something like a cruise...well...its more like live on a boat, right on the base of the Chugach mountains near Valdez. so my buddy who lives in Pagosa Springs colorado just got a sponsorship from (among others) Red Bull for skiing, and they are paying for his trip and asked him to invite some other local young riders to go out there too. so hopefully I will have plenty of pictures once the ski season gets well under way. I'm thinking this might happen in february, which would be awesome! |

I've heard the cruise thing is fun, I really want to drive and see the Northern lights, and also spend TIMe where the polar bears are, beofre they're all gone .Two of my friends drove there in thier RV last Summer and the pics they brought back were incredible.Peace, Robin |

I just saw this and wanted to say that I, too, would like to do the Alaskan cruise thing. My friend Crystal went on one and LOVED it.
