Posted - 09/04/2001 : 11:05:57 AM On the tour dates page it has Devon playing at 11:15 pm and Tim starting a 90 minute set at 12:15 am. I was just wondering if the set times were correct. It's the 11-10-01 show at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, GA. Thanks for your help.

Posted - 09/25/2001 : 12:29:31 AM Ok everyone in the Atlanta area (or everyone like me, within a 6 hour radius), the tickets are now on sale for the Variety Playhouse (11.10.01) show. Just thought you all would like to know.

The Variety Playhouse does "not know beforehand," which hopefully indicates that it is up to the performer. Of course that would be just alrightie with me, cause I know Tim doesn't care. So I'm hoping to get at least a video taping of this show.

Posted - 09/07/2001 : 6:56:17 PM Hey bro, check out http://www.cdnow.com and do the relevant searches. They have samples of most of Beta Band's (and most other bands, too) songs, so you can get a little taste of their stuff.
Any info on tickets yet, anyone?

Posted - 09/07/2001 : 12:19:09 PM No real new information on the Atlanta show, but I did run across some interesting pieces of info.
For those of you near Atlanta and within easy driving distance, Leo Kottke will be playing the Variety Playhouse on Sept 23. That is a great show, I can promise you. Really laid back, just a bunch of old people.
And also the Beta Band will play there on I think Oct 15. Sometimes during song jams, the members will switch instruments, and the song jam will last until all the members of the band have played all the insturments. I would love to see that one.
That said, does anyone yet know where tickets can be found to see Tim Reynolds when he comes to Atlanta? I'm still looking...

Posted - 09/06/2001 : 01:51:41 AM Just a note concerning the set times for Tim. I think the reason it is so late is that there's someone else playing the variety playhouse on the same night, before him. Suzanne Westenhoefer starts at 8:00, so that could be somehow related. And I still can't find tickets on sale, and in fact, the variety playhouse doesn't even seem to list Tim playing that night. I did see it there at one time, but not now. Anyone know anything about that?

Posted - 09/05/2001 : 11:57:59 PM Hey man, I tried the venue site, and I couldn't even find where they had Tim listed as a show. Seems like they stop their schedule sometime in October. Either way, I can't wait. Driving over six hours for that one.

Posted - 09/05/2001 : 03:00:09 AM Hey about the Atlanta show, are tickets not on sale yet or what? I tried on ticketmaster, and they don't seem to be for sale. I'd sure hate to miss my chance (as Tim comes nowhere else close to Mississippi).

Posted - 09/04/2001 : 3:27:25 PM Those times are right to the best of our knowledge. As Jon points out at the top of the tour dates page all times are subject to change and should be confirmed with the venue. They are the ones who decide when we go on. Check with the Venue!! to be sure. Peace and Keep the Faith Fluffy
