I as a BOARD regular I have developed a pretty thick skin. I have to say I was sort of relieved to find his only complaint was that the stores were closed on Easter Sunday.
teri :)
p.s. Thanks for the comment on my new sig image, PJK. I like it too, but I'm thinking I may have to change it in the near future because it's a little large. |

Posted - 04/17/2006 : 12:10:55 AM There are definitely places open on Easter. I went to one of them and bought some flowers.
Must be your neck of the woods HRW.
When I was in Junior High, my parents and I went to our church on Easter and after Church we would always go to a little cafe and get a pastry and coffee and sit and talk for a while, but on this one Easter our cafe was closed. So we went to Noah's Bagels, I thought the irony was fitting. |

Posted - 04/16/2006 : 6:51:19 PM I didn't go out today but I am pretty sure most of the stores were open around my way in the burbs of Philadelphia. Our WaWa never closes (it's like a 7-11) and I can't imagine wal-mart giving up a day of money making.
Of course the clerk at the store is probably thinking "fucking person who runs out of paper towels on a holiday!"
BTW Teri, I love the star! |

Posted - 04/16/2006 : 6:47:48 PM Even in Germany when everything else is closed (Sundays, church holidays, etc.) you can usually find either a gas station (along the autobahn or near an airport) that's open, or stores near the train station. I can't believe that New Jersey is worse than this... |

Posted - 04/16/2006 : 2:15:52 PM Are you trying to tell me there's not a single store open on Easter? There has to be at least a 7-11 or something... |
