Not you, specifically. There have just been some interesting exchanges on the BOARD in general. If you know what I mean.

Wow.....what a careless thing to say. ever think you may have insulted some people here.

I as a BOARD regular I have developed a pretty thick skin. I have to say I was sort of relieved to find his only complaint was that the stores were closed on Easter Sunday.

teri :)

p.s. Thanks for the comment on my new sig image, PJK. I like it too, but I'm thinking I may have to change it in the near future because it's a little large.

Wow.....what a careless thing to say. ever think you may have insulted some people here. maybe you should have planned ahead and bought your all important paper towels the day before.

Just the liquor stores, luckily. Mao-Mart was actually closed! No shit. I coulda got paper towels at the gas station convenience store, but it's the priniple.

There are definitely places open on Easter. I went to one of them and bought some flowers.

Must be your neck of the woods HRW.

When I was in Junior High, my parents and I went to our church on Easter and after Church we would always go to a little cafe and get a pastry and coffee and sit and talk for a while, but on this one Easter our cafe was closed. So we went to Noah's Bagels, I thought the irony was fitting.

I didn't go out today but I am pretty sure most of the stores were open around my way in the burbs of Philadelphia. Our WaWa never closes (it's like a 7-11) and I can't imagine wal-mart giving up a day of money making.

Of course the clerk at the store is probably thinking "fucking person who runs out of paper towels on a holiday!"

BTW Teri, I love the star!

Even in Germany when everything else is closed (Sundays, church holidays, etc.) you can usually find either a gas station (along the autobahn or near an airport) that's open, or stores near the train station. I can't believe that New Jersey is worse than this...

...walmart?

I'm about to head over to Del Taco, keep your fingers crossed for me!

Are you trying to tell me there's not a single store open on Easter? There has to be at least a 7-11 or something...
