Posted - 04/09/2006 : 5:26:54 PM i like going to tim concerts and seeing/hearing funny stuff b/c people are expecting a dave matthews experience. at the concert we went to in San Antonio last week, there was this kid on the front row that looked EXACTLY like david b/c he was trying to(and he was bored the entire night). then there were these kids sitting next to me that asked if it would be rude to ask Tim to play DMB songs...so i said yes, and i proceeded to tell him that it would be a completely different experience. then later on in the concert they saw that i knew Tim songs and was yelling a few out that he played, so they asked me to yell out Satellite... so i didnt. then someone yelled "THE STONE!" and those kids next to me said "YEAH, BOUT TIME!". and i laughed. i heart daveheads. |

Posted - 04/11/2006 : 7:31:09 PM It is also a little known fact that it is actually Tim that you hear playing guitar at all the DMB shows. He is back stage playing the whole time while Dave just mimics playing on stage.
I do think it is funny that most of the guitar you hear on DMBs first few albums is Tim because Dave's was turned way town by Lillywhite. |

He just came up with the amazing harmony guitar parts, which in my opinion, "complete" the songs. |

Posted - 04/10/2006 : 12:57:31 AM they should have a guy back stage with small hard objects. everytime someone requests a dave matthews song, they get hit with something. and when they get hit with something, one of us can yell "yeah, it's about time." |

It's great.. |
