And, as it over a year old, John is back from Afghanistan, all in one piece. He'll be in Stuttgart for about another month and then will move to the UK to be an exchange officer with the RAF.
I wasn't sure how I'd do on the "just friends" thing but it's going okay. Since he's been back we've gone to dinner and movies with groups of friends and it hasn't been uncomfortable or weird. |

It brought tears to my eyes. But that may have been becuase I was crying anyway. John is being sent to Afghanistan. :( |
