hey everybody, whats up?
I was wondering if anybody could recomend some good songs from some of the new shows that feature Tim's new 12 string baritone, tha Villete or whatever it;s called. Thanks, Much appreciated.

more people should be playing baris, but they're not exactly cheap... the Veilettes anyway... more people like Greg should be playing the stick too... but then again probably not... it makes them stand out... really makes them unique and that's a good thing...

c# minor is one my favorite key signature (next to dmaj/bmin). c# major on the other hand, is a loathsome and bothered one.

yea there is alot of info hidden away in this board. Everyone should remember to go back and read old dead posts when they have a chance. You can always you the search feature. I use it all the time it is awesome. Check it out.

Should have known there would be something about the bari somewhere on this board, thanks for the info all. More people should play baris, seems like everyone complains that the majority of songs are written in just a few keys that are easy to play on the tenor, would be nice to see more people writing in other keys, and the bari definitely makes that easier. Although it does suck that although the tenor and bari are in E and A concert, those correspond to C# and F#, the two nastiest keys to play in for us sax players.

I believe it's tuned down a fifth. Low to high- A, d, g, c, e, a.

What exactly is a baritone guitar? i've seen the Veilette, but i don't know the tunings used for the strings etc
