Posted - 11/24/2001 : 7:32:24 PM more people should be playing baris, but they're not exactly cheap... the Veilettes anyway... more people like Greg should be playing the stick too... but then again probably not... it makes them stand out... really makes them unique and that's a good thing...

Posted - 11/24/2001 : 4:32:14 PM Should have known there would be something about the bari somewhere on this board, thanks for the info all. More people should play baris, seems like everyone complains that the majority of songs are written in just a few keys that are easy to play on the tenor, would be nice to see more people writing in other keys, and the bari definitely makes that easier. Although it does suck that although the tenor and bari are in E and A concert, those correspond to C# and F#, the two nastiest keys to play in for us sax players.
