Crazy weird story. Possibly twelve bodies in the one grave.

My buddy and I just saw him this past October, on the 40th! anniversary of Alice's Restaurant. He was great and funny as hell. Amazing storyteller.

i'd willing to bet what stops people from killing other people is the law and that's it. conflict theory, biatch. also, i think a lot of people just don't have it in them. to look someone in the eye and then kill them takes a marked lack of emotion. it's not feeling hate and anger so much that pulls someone through the act. it's the absence of any emotion.

"I wanna kill, doc...
I mean kill! Kill!
I wanna see blood and gore and veins in my teeth!
I mean kill! Kill!! Kill!!!"
I started jumping up and down shouting, "Kill! Kill!! Kill!!!"
And the doctor started jumping up and down with me, shouting.
And then a sergeant came in and said "congratulations you're our boy..."

I think that it is a question of why don't people kill. Everyone has had the thought "I want to kill this person," but only a select few actually do it. Those select few just don't have that little voice that says no for whatever reason. The motives are just an excuse (in my opinion.)

people murder for lots of things. out of racial or religious hate, for money and drugs, out of love (obession,) revenge, jealousy, momentary rage, rituals. there's no shortage of motives.

it's this sort of confidence that's missing from today's criminals. you see them hanging their heads, and putting their hands over their faces as if they have anything to lose anyway. i say stare 'em in the face and make fun of them. nothing will endear you to the jury more.

Nice! Spoken like a true death row inmate.

wow, didn't even hear about this. I am still feeling shaken by the murder of the Harvey family in VA on New Years Day. Why people murder is beyond me.
