First off, I should preface this review by saying that I've never seen, or really even heard much of Keller before. I'd just heard nothing but AMAZING things about his shows, so I decided to go. Where to even start? The show was at this shit-hole called the Galaxy in Santa Ana... I usually go there to see indie wrestlin shows. But on a Thursday night, this place was PACKED. I'd never seen it like that before. The show was amazing. Mr. Williams is quite a talented man. His solo playing was cool, but what I really dug was his looping, and beat-boxing. Even more impressive was his fan-base. I've never seen a more rabid audience! Heads were flying off left and right when he took the stage (barefoot, might I add). I can't really tell you what was played, since I don't know his music, but there were some interesting rendidtions of Nirvana, and Sublime. There was one guitar specifically that he played that I really liked... I don't even know what it was, but it had two cables running into it, and no top. I'll have to look for a pic on his site or something. Anyways, I was very impressed and will definitely go again next time he rolls around.

He also did Stairway to Heaven, which he apologized for afterwards, and then played All Along the Watchtower... still trying to hunt down a picture of that guitar.

I love Keller Williams, because he is like Phish in the manner that he has so many covers to pull from you never know what the hell he's going to unleash. His sets are crazy and he's a hell of a musician. I'm sad I can't catch him this time around, but glad to hear you liked the show Kev.
