Some TIMe ago there was talk about starting a new forum with Frequently Asked Questions.
I thought that was a great idea and had hopes that it would happen.
We have gotten a lot of newbies lately due to the recent shows. A list of do's and don'ts at a TIM concert, a more in depth bio with info on his family (for those who ask if TIM is married), what CD's should a newbie buy first, how to get TIM to play in your area of the country, etc.
I thought maybe Jeff(SilkyThePimp)or Jason(enthuTIMsiast)or Kevin might have input on this. Whatever happened to this idea? Is it still a possibility and what must we do to get it to fruition? |

Great idea, done, albeit rather crudely. Sorry.
Kevin, any chance you could edit your post to your thread to indicate to newbies that there are facts there, they just have to scroll down for them? Or maybe that isn't needed, I don't know. I just think Arthens idea to keep it at the top of the forum is a good one and I don't want a new person to dismiss it after looking at the first couple of posts.
Is there anyway you can bump your Q's and A's to the top of the thread? Cut and paste? |

Until we make it it's own forum let's try to always keep that FAQ thread at the top of the TR Forum. |

Kevin, outstanding! I forgot about your post and that thread, I would add something on the lines of "suggested music to start off with", I don't think I saw it on your list, otherwise it was amazing!
I don't think it should be in the form of a thread however, I feel a forum is better suited for that. Could you ask Jon or Fluffy (when he returns to the board) to convert your list into a forum? Threads are a pain in the ass to keep at the top and what you wrote should be easily available to new comers to the board.
