Yeah yeah I'm on it like shit on velcro.

Uh, due to a "lack of personel" at my school, BioII and Astronomy have been combined as one class. Right. They're calling it "Applied Sciences." Rediculous. My plan, this year, is to not turn in any scheduling papers, but next year when I find my "made-up" schedule, to bitch them out and claim to have turned in all necessary items. I really just want an excuse to yell at them for being such pussies.
This "No Child Left Behind" law is the reason why my friend was kicked out of school and consequently cannot graduate with me. Apparently, the internet classes he was taking at home count as "enrollment." So since this internet course does not include art or physical science, he had to go to the high school (literally his back yard) to get his necessary credits...Well, according to the No Child Left Behind law, he's enrolled in two schools and therefore he was kicked out of the high school to wallow in his own dark misfortune. In other words, left behind.
MY town is getting a Wal*mart soon. I hate Wal*mart. They're putting it right next to where they're putting a Wendy's and the worlds largest Subway. Yeah, we're also getting the world's most luxurious Dairy Queen. There's a hitch, and it's in the form of an outhouse. I guess the EPA doesn't exactly know what to do about it, either, as this is the one thing holding back construction on what once was undisturbed forest but is now 600 acres of mud (with an outhouse in the middle.) How disgusting can these things get? I mean, it's a bunch of shit in the ground. The outhouse itself is fairly standard-looking, it's still there...
All of the mom-and-pop stores on the Square which sell antiques and gifts for way too much (Think-greeting card for 4 dollars.) are bitching up a storm because Wal*Mart in all its putrid glory is going to make their sales drop. Well, who the hell cares, honestly? The last time I gave someone a greeting card, I made the fucker myself.
And the mayor, whose wife opened a small coffee shop on the Square two years ago and had to shut down because no one even noticed it exsisted, is on the side of the ownners. So basically, instead of just plopping a Wal*mart outside of town, the residents have to throw a hissyfit about bad buissness getting shut out. Not to mention the outhouse. That's 600 acres of undisturbed, uncut, natural forest which is absolutely gone now...just a giant patch of mud, festering openly like a zit. And all people can do about it is bitch. Build the fucker, already, but god knows I'm not going in.
