Ben Folds new album is simply amazing. I'm trying of things to say, but I'm still caught up in it all. "Landed" is a great song, "Gracie" is a sweet song to his daughter, etc, etc. Everyone go out and buy it.

I think it's a more mature, sophomore solo offering for him. One can only listen to "Rockin' the Suburbs" or "Zak and Sara" so many times before they get annoying.

And I've got a softspot for anyone who writes a song for Elliott Smith.

Man, I need to give that CD another listen I guess. I listened to it last week, and didn't think too much of it. Kinda slow, more singer/songwritery than I'm used to with Ben. I opted for Bruce's new disc instead which I really think is great, and I've never even been a huge fan of his. Ben Folds last solo disc was very upbeat with drum machines and all... maybe that is what I'm missing from this one, I promise I will give it another shot though.

No, I didn't. I just got the regular dual disc version. I never really watch the DVD, and since I bought the one that was cheaper, I was also able to buy a Talking Heads album, "True Stories".
