I love all of it, but slightly dislike Amerika and Moskau. I tend to skip them, but think the album as a whole is amazing. Better than Mutter? um... nah. Mutter is perfect, and this is just a notch down. But seeing how a notch down is still leaps and bounds better than Sehnsucht, I can handle that.

If youre a Manson fan, and you like the song Doll-Dagga Buzz-Buzz Ziggety-Zag, download Keine Lust. Its got that same rythmn going for it that makes it seem that much heavier, and the midsection, though unfortunatly short, rocks hardcore.

Lyricaly, theyve gotten 100x better, too:

NEIN!

Side note: Erich, I'd like to trade for a couple of your mpg discs of Tim, specifically 3/14/99 and 5/04/00. My list is at:

I hope you can find something you like, no live Rammstein unfortunately.

musicaly and lyricaly, the two best songs on their latest album, IMHO, are Morgenstern and Dalai Lama. The most fun song on the album, IMHO, is Keine Lust.

For Rammstein, I agree that theres a level of contrived-ness, but I dont take them seriously either. theyre a lot of fun, and a lot of times their lyrics cant be taken seriously (Keine Lust is like that). But not all their songs are silly fun, and those are a great listen.

Its not deep stuff, and it doesnt invoke thoughts such as even the simplest tim solo piece, but its fun.

rammstein is one of those bands i joke about liking. like slipknot. with bands like marilyn manson and rammstein, for some reason, i can't really take any of their musical expression seriously. they always sort of seem like some kind of parody, and the aggression and anger of their music seems contrived. whatever merit the music itself has, and i don't know because i've not delved too deeply into much of their music, doesn't seem to work for me.

but whatever. what song would you say is the best one on there? it couldn't hurt to give them a shot.
