Posted - 02/02/2005 : 6:54:55 PM Well, it's been a month since the ball dropped. Has anyone managed to stick to their resolutions?
I quit smoking and started jogging! I have the luxury of living less than a mile from the beach so every other morning I'm running the shoreline. In 9 weeks I should be able to run 3 miles (5k) non-stop.

Diet Rite and Hansen's Diet Soda contain Splenda instead.
That's another thing I gave up...caffeine. And soda for that matter, I've only had a Sprite maybe three times since the beginning of the year. I started getting cases of these drinks called Juice Squeeze at Costco. They're 70% fruit juice (not from concentrate) and 30% sparkling water. Very refreshing, and they give me more energy than caffeine ever did. |

Posted - 02/02/2005 : 8:22:16 PM I gave up sugar sodas, and have stuck to diet ever since. I'm working on eleminating as much sugar as possible. That diabetes thing has hit a few people in my family.
I've also been trying to walk, but classes have started up and I'm tired again. |
